Supermodel Elle Macpherson has stepped down as host for Period 2 of NBC's "Fashion Star." While Macpherson's action down for the series will come as a bit of a surprise, she did tease impending improvements to HuffPost on the NBC upfront presentation in May perhaps.

"We've achieved an incredible career and NBC continues to be a hundred percent at the rear of us. America's been guiding this application."
Other improvements are coming to show, according to the Post: Producers are considering getting rid of judges completely, and vogue brand H&M -- one of the program's co-sponsors -- will no longer be driving it. The manner reality series features designers competing for a chance to have their clothing sold at reputable retail stores.
