Take note of the wick composition. The wick plays a significant role in how the candle will burn. They come in four different types. This includes the square, specialty, cored, and flat types. The flat type is the most common kind, and it ensures that the wick to trim itself once the flame has curled itself. Cored wicks have braids, while the square wicks have twists but are quite thicker. Specialty wicks, have bug repellents making them unique from the rest.

Typically, a small candle with a little wick can burn more than seven to nine hours. Other variables that define burning time includes the sort of cord, form of wax and additives used.

Acquaint with simple means to take care of the taper. There are a couple of rules that can help you avoid misusing the taper and remain safe as well.
