The web shop owners praised search engine optimization for their webshops because of the positive effect on their name recognition (branding) and Return on Investment (ROI).
More than 60% of the questioned webshop owners decalred to be satisfied or more than satisfied with the results from search engine optimization.
48% Was satisfied or more than satisfied about advertising in search engines like Google Adwords en Yahoo Search Marketing.
The webshop owners were much less satisfied with their return on investment on email marketing and PR.
