Third, be business minded. Yes you may be doing the job because you love it. But remember that you are not doing it for free. You need money to survive in this industry. Being business minded will help you determine a good deal from a bad one. This can also help you be more aware of the new opportunities that the vast market may be offering you.

Good management is also worth mentioning. Every venture needs to be organized. Otherwise, the flow of job delegation may be affected. The ability to handle and schedule multiple tasks is vital to a good and effective company. Failure to keep things in order can cause huge money loss in the long run.

Five, evaluate your people skills. There is nothing wrong with being able to work at your best alone. But from time to time, you should also try to socialize with the people you are working with. This is vital especially on joint projects where you have to deal with persons who you may not know personally. In company socialization is a good start.
