The Quality Of The Single Origin Espresso

By James Cox

Coffee is probably the most popular beverage today, and for a good reason. It's not only aromatic and tasty, it can also wake you up and make you feel better. Some of the most popular blends are widely known, and some are reserved for the true lovers. Recently, there are several single origin espresso varieties that became quite popular. With these, you can tell where they are coming from and they are made using only one coffee variety.

As it was said, several coffee blends are widely popular today. They were carefully designed to meet particular consumers' needs. If it was a music composition, it would be played by several great artists. Each playing single part, together these artists produce one beautiful composition, balanced and perfect in any way, even if some of them have entirely different qualities. Together, they work perfectly.

Single origin coffee is something entirely different. Here, there is only one musician on the stage, and this one has to be perfect in his performance, because you will be able to separate each and every tone. In this case there are no place for mistakes. Because of that, the person preparing such coffee needs to know his job, in order of providing the desired result.

Both different mixtures and single origin beans have their own advantages. When it comes to blends, many are designed for specific use, for example for espresso, cappuccino or ice coffee. When it comes to a completely specific variety, it is difficult to predict whether it will be good for preparing coffee with milk, for example, and the only way to find this is the method of attempts and mistakes.

Because of this, such coffee is mostly used for the preparation of ordinary espresso. Nonetheless, its preparation requires an experienced bartender. This person should be able to emphasize certain characteristics of a particular variety, using pressure in the apparatus, precisely determining the amount of water required, and so on. In this case, different surprises are always possible.

The fact is that most people already have a built-in taste when it comes to their favorite mix for preparing and serving this popular beverage. Some mixtures have a pronounced citrus note, some give the taste of chocolate in taste, and some are particularly layered and delicate. In any case, high quality always finds its customers.

Anyway, you will probably enjoy discovering these new and exciting tastes, these lovely new, and still old and familiar aromas. Any real coffee lover will appreciate this, because of the undeniable quality and originality of these lovely beans. The whole process might be one really interesting experience, and there are so many lovely new tastes to find and enjoy in.

It's hard to say which one to choose. As with other espresso varieties, every type has its own customers. The best approach might be to try them all first, and decide later. Maybe you could design your own particular blends, using some or those single origins, or one for every particular purpose, one for your morning espresso, one for your cappuccino, for example. Have a really great time and enjoy in each and every cup.
