Discovering A Successful Marketing Business Model For Facebook

By Jashua Moses

Overall, the business plan is pretty simple and straightforward. It will utilize three things: your own website, a Facebook fan page, and Facebook ads. Processing the marking will look like this: Paid ad - fan page - business site - newsletter.

The trick is to choose a niche that has a huge potential for a large audience such as Going Green, Weight Loss or even Women's Fashions. You'll create a Facebook fan page as well as a website to go along side of it.

With the website you'll have fascinating content in the selected niche. It should include original content, short blog postings to link back (back links) to the original articles (this is called the curating content) and then you'll wish to make your site the expert go to site for what ever is going on in your specific niche. You'll create a Facebook Ad "Like" campaign in order to gain likes. Your fan page will become the go to source on Facebook. You can target people who share a similar interest in your niche topic on your fan page.

You will want to set up a "like" campaign on Facebook that is designed to get "likes" or fans. Aim your page towards those with similar interests. Then daily post content on the fan page that can be used and shared. There should be a combination of photos and links your website's articles and bring traffic from the fan page to your web page.

Your website will have two purposes. First, it should generate income from the sales of affiliate products or from the ads like Google Adsense on your site. Second, your website should create an email list. From this email list, you should send out three to five emails every week in order to bring people to see new content that on your web page. Your website will have dual purposes. It will first generate traffic and thus an income through your sales on your affiliate ads or through the ads like Google Adsense. Next, it will ensure that you have a list for your emails such as newsletters and discounts that you'll send out periodically.

A great example of this is The Mind Unleashed site. It has a corresponding Facebook page named Themindunleashed. Here they have nearly 6.5 million fans and they use this to drive the traffic to their website where they have cleverly posted some Google Ads to help monetize their site. Let's take a look at how this works. If just one percent of their fans will visit the website each day, there are still nearly 65,000 visits per day on their website. It is a clever and simple method to rinse and repeat for more visitors.
