How Internet Marketing Firms May Look At Instagram's Audience

Instagram is, without question, one of the most popular applications designed for sharing photos. Anyone who's used the app, at length, will tell you the same and they will assess the various features it possesses as well. However, you must keep in mind that this particular app has more than a few users to account for. In fact, as Internet marketing firms will tell you, its user base numbers have come together to form one of the biggest talking points that this app could ever offer.

What's worth noting, as far as this story goes, is the fact that Instagram has reached 300 million users around the world. While this is impressive, in its own right, it's made even more so when compared to the current audience that Twitter has. In fact, this point had attention drawn to it by a series of news websites, which makes it that much more noteworthy. It's not hard to see why this was covered, since Twitter is a brand that practically everyone knows about.

This past March, it was observed that Instagram possessed 200 million users. Once Facebook bought Instagram the following month, though, it was easy to see that improvements would be made. After all, this is what progress entails, which is a point that firms such as fishbat will be unable to ignore. If you want to talk about what these improvements entail, there is quite a bit of discussion to be made across a litany of Internet marketing firms.

If you want to talk about specific improvements, authentication was spoken about in detail. The reason for this is because Instagram proposed a verification system, not unlike the one that Twitter uses, in order to confirm the legitimacy of pages for celebrities, actors, athletes, and brands in general. Given the popularity of Instagram, as a whole, it's not difficult to see why this will be integrated. To me, it'll only help to keep engagement in Instagram that much stronger.

Whether Facebook has been an influence or not - I'm inclined to believe the former - there's no one who can disagree with the influence that this particular photo sharing app has had. So many people are invested in it and it's clear that there are few signs of it slowing down anytime soon. Those who enjoy visuals, more so than any other form of media, should take a moment to invest in Instagram. Only the most positive of results will make themselves known.
